I have always been well looked after by the reception staff and dental team. Visited today for a filling with Mr Sam Wheeler. I am very anxious about going to the dentist and Sam was friendly, professional and patient. He kept me informed while he worked and the injection worked very quickly, no pain at all. The tooth looks like new and I am so pleased. Reception staff were very friendly too. I had been with Mr Erbetta for over 20 years until he retired and was worried about having a new dentist but I feel I am in very safe and capable hands with Sam and all the excellent practice team.

Lovely dentist, always good appointments with him. Unfortunately very rude receptionist who doesnt provide accurate information and doesn’t help patients who are struggling with filling in forms.

Our appointments with Scott have been awesome. He has provided the reassurance and specific advice for my children, who have not had fantastic dental experiences at previous dental surgeries. My daughter now feels confident to attend appointments on her own.

I’ve been a patient at this dental surgery for many years and couldn’t be happier with the care I receive. Recently, I needed help completing my medical history, and the receptionist kindly took the time to do it all for me, which I truly appreciated as I’m not comfortable using an iPad.

Mr. Greenslade is an excellent dentist—he is always patient, gentle, and takes the time to put me at ease during every visit. It really makes a difference.

The practice is also very well organised. Appointments run on time, so there’s never a long wait, and the email reminders 48 hours beforehand are very helpful.

All in all, I feel very lucky to be a patient here. I’m extremely happy with the service and care I receive.

When a couple of friends suggested I try Thistledene Dentist I was slightly apprehensive as I am an extremely nervous patient. Not having had great experiences in the past I was not sure my perspective could be change but how wrong was I. From the receptionist to the Dentist himself I was shown care and consideration especially when they found out how fearful I was. All I can say is that this is the first dentist since moving from London that has completely put my anxiety to rest. I cannot stress enough the level of professionalism, care and expertise that I have received from Scott and his team and that I am no longer fearful and untrusting when visiting the dentist! Emergency appointment with Scott for a chipped front tooth : easy communication with reception, booking went smooth almost instant , was accommodated on a short notice , very happy with the work done & signed myself over for regular check-ups . Couldn’t recommend this place more 🫶🏽

Exceptionally rude glorified receptionist that makes excuses for the current state in the dental crisis. Pleased to hear they do not accept NHS patients, if the practice is as bad as the reception service then we have possibly dodged a bullet.
